BEVerify Launch Signals New Momentum for Building Decarbonisation Finance

A recent article from Carbon Pulse highlights the launch of BEVerify, a digital carbon registry developed by BEClimate to connect building decarbonisation projects with carbon markets.

The platform is designed to address one of the sector’s most persistent challenges: access to finance. Despite proven technologies such as energy efficiency upgrades and electrification, many projects have struggled to move forward due to high upfront costs and limited revenue pathways beyond energy savings.

BEVerify introduces a model that enables emissions reductions from buildings to be measured, verified, and converted into carbon assets. By incorporating digital Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (dMRV), the platform supports automated validation and significantly reduces the time required for credit issuance.

This approach aims to create a more transparent and standardised system for recognising carbon savings across the built environment, helping project developers and asset owners unlock additional value and attract investment.

Initially focused on energy efficiency and building decarbonisation projects, the registry is expected to expand into broader applications across the sector. The integration with Xpansiv’s infrastructure further supports data transparency, auditability, and compatibility with evolving carbon market frameworks.
